Beautiful Skin Smoothie
2 cups of frozen pineapple
2 cups of spinach
1 Tbsp. ground flax seed
1 1/2 cups of coconut water
1Tsp. spirulina (optional)
Blend all ingredients and Enjoy!
Pineapple is a powerhouse for healthy skin, it contains Vitamin C, bromelain, and tons of antioxidants, which aid in the treatment and prevention of fine lines and wrinkles, acne, sun damaged and uneven skin tones. Bromelain firms the skin at the same time keeping it soft and supple.
Spinach is an excellent source of iron, folate chlorophyll, Vitamin E, magnesium, Vitamin A, fiber, plant protein and Vitamin C. Spinach contains antioxidants that fight against all types of skin issues.
Flax seed is fiber rich, it binds and flushes toxins from your system, leaving behind a healthy coating of Omega 3 fatty acids, which increase the speed of healing. Flax seed is rich in protein, zinc and B-Vitamins these are not only great for beautiful skin but healthy hair.
Coconut water is pure hydration and brings that gorgeous glow to your skin. It contains Vitamin C. potassium, magnesium and calcium.
Spirulina, I add it to all my smoothies! Spirulina contains Vitamin B-1, B-2,B-2,B-9, vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin A and vitamin E. Great source of protein, potassium, calcium, chromium, copper, iron and magnesium. It is a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. Best of all it slows down the aging of skin cells.
